Well, it was, it still hurt, and at this point my face was sort of raw feeling so, it stung a little when I first applied the First aid products but, as my face dried, the sting began to subside, I repeated the process a few hours later, there was noticeable improvement, it still stung when first applied but, after a few minutes the sting subsided and it felt great, there was a light beginning to shine at the end of this long, painful tunnel… I wasn’t going to give up, by bed time I could have cried I was so happy with the progress. The next morning I woke up and the severe sting was gone, I washed my face and applied moisturizers again, by the 2nd day, the red blotches were nearly gone and I was smiling again, grateful to be free from pain and that my face no longer would scare small children, I am so happy to have found the First Aid products, I’m praying I never have reaction to First aid because this stuff is phenomenal! Once the rawness of my face calmed after the 3rd day.. It recently went on sale for $30, so I grabbed it because I was about to run out of the moisturizer that I had been using. I've got normal to dry leaning skin that gets flushed easily due to stimulant medications. At night I need to lock in that moisture after toners & serums, but keeping my skin calm is priority. This cream definitely keeps my skin moisturized without feeling so heavy that I need a power washer to get it off in the AM. I've not noticed that it's done anything for my skin tone yet, but I've not used it for long. What I love about this is that the price point is beyond reasonable for the size of the jar. This definitely will last me a while. It's gentle enough to use on sensitive skin, it's definitely moisturizing, it's like... a cozy blanket for my skin that I don't FEEL on my skin which is actually really nice. I want my skin to feel like skin. Not weighed down. What I don't like is that even though it feels and looks like I'm putting on a lot, I kind of feel like I need a little more just before bed after it dries down and my skin absorbs it. I expected it to be a little heavier just because of the texture, but I guess that's also a pro for some people because it does absorb quickly. Overall, totally worth it in not just the formulation (the ingredients are amazing) but the price point is perfect. I've tried moisturizers that are triple the price of this and didn't live up to the brands claims. She has been using it for about a month now and it has worked wonders, it’s lightweight and smooth and her rash is almost gone and her skin feels great. It has a light fragrance too so it goes with any scents you may put on your body. I was actually very impressed because I was not sure it would work so well or so quick but it did!! I will say, you have to be constant, it is not really a product that you can use every now and then and expect quick and effective results (like most products that actually work).

However, sometimes I just want my skin to look like soft skin and not like I just stepped out of a sauna lol I noticed almost an immediate change when I started back using this after running out before, even though I was using good quality skincare products and sunscreen.
