This review is for the boom trio with berry. I used it every day for work. Update, after using for several days. The image is after I applied it the first time, with only what comes in the kit. What you get: a fat, waxy stick of moisturizer that appears to be lightly tinted; a fat, waxy stick of medium brown eye shadow that can also be used for highlighting under cheekbones etc. ; a fat, waxy stick of lip and blush color. The image is berry, but the naked rose looks tons better with my coloring. As you can see from the image, if you don't have a great complexion, you'll need to add concealer after the moisturizer. That also looked tons better. This makeup is very subtle. I had to do half my face first in order to be able to see the effect. I liked this makeup once it was on, but the execution was definitely a thumbs down. The big fat waxy sticks were awkward and annoying, especially for moisturizer, eye shadow and lipstick. The stiff wax makes it more time-consuming to spread and blend. And it is shiny, like any makeup. I have just been blotting it, but some people may want to apply a light, translucent powder. So that may be another thing you might have to add to make it work. I'll probably use this makeup, or at least enough to feel I got my money's worth. But I highly doubt I'll be buying it again. I do love the convenience factor and the idea of downsizing my makeup into just 3 or 4 items that can be quickly applied. I like the nude rose blush enough to buy again, for blush only. But otherwise, I will be replacing with cream moisturizer, powder eye shadow, and tinted beeswax lip color, with the addition of a concealer and keeping the blush stick.

I was hesitant about boom because of colors of the 2 additional tubes in trio but thought for the price one more line couldnt hurt. If i had purchased this first i would never have bought the others. In fact i bought 2 more colors of the blush. Out of all of the competitors this is the very best. It looks flawless. Color looks so natural like its my natural color. I am so happy with it. So light you dont feel it on your face. The moisturizer is super. Your skin glows. Its lightweight but you can add a little more color if you want.
